A Pause for Peaceful Presence - Meditation & Yoga Retreat

Take a pause in your wild summer fun…

… and come back to the foundation of your soul honouring it with the sweet nurturance of silence, stillness and presence.

Each day we will practice some slow, soulful hatha yoga, insight meditation and contemplation. There will be delicious vegetarian food to fill the belly and plenty of time to wander through the 35 acres of beautiful countryside of the Bala Brook Retreat Centre.

Settle in on the Friday with chai and chit chat to meet new friends. We will ground with some nourishing yoga then share a delightful vegetarian meal together. After dinner we will practice mouna (silence) until dinner the following day.

Saturday will start with meditation, yoga asana and breath work followed by breakfast. The majority of the day will be spent in silence alternating between silent sitting, walking and some guided meditation practices. We will come together at the end of the day to share our experiences and a delicious hearty and healthy dinner.

Sunday will start much the same as the previous day, but after breakfast you will have the choice of walking by yourself or as a group. After lunch we will close with a group meditation session then pack up and depart.
