Kali’s deep connection with Yoga and Meditation began many years ago with a regular Kundalini & Ashtanga Yoga practice. Her passion and quest for knowledge took her to India to study Hatha Yoga with Guru Swami Shanthi Prasad and more in depth studies of Vinyasa, Hatha & Pranayama with inspirational teachers: Heather Elton and Liza, Rory and James from Tribe Yoga.
Drawn to Buddhist mindfulness meditation studies and practice, Kali regularly attends silent retreats at Dhamma Dipa and Gaia House. She draws knowledge and inspiration from teachers such as: Thich Nhat Hanh, Bhante Gunaratana & The Dalai Lama. Urged by the transformational effects of the practice, Kali went on to study Yin Yoga & Insight Meditation with Sarah Powers.
As a surfer, nature lover, healthy eating advocate, and training in fitness and nutrition, Kali promotes Yoga & health as a way of life. She has oodles of knowledge to share on how you can enhance your life by promoting vibrant health, boosted energy and ultimately more contentment and happiness 🙂
Kali is committed to a path of continued learning to keep knowledge fresh and relevant and is qualified as a Level 2 teacher (500hr) with over 700 hours training in Hatha, Vinyasa & Yin Yoga and is a qualified Mindfulness meditation instructor. She is first aid qualified and insured to teach.
